Dr. Bert Provan
Bert Provan is an Occasional Senior Research Fellow, and Knowledge Broker, in the Centre for Analysis of Social Exclusion at the London School of Economics. His research interests lie in housing, neighbourhood renewal and the social impact of regeneration, the impact of welfare reforms, social return on investment, and comparative French housing policies.
The Centre for Analysis of Social Exclusion (CASE) is a multi-disciplinary research centre based at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), within the Suntory and Toyota International Centres for Economics and Related Disciplines (STICERD). CASE focuses on the exploration of different dimensions of social disadvantage, particularly from longitudinal and neighbourhood perspectives, and examines the impact of public policy.
